Singh’s latest book, Kuchh Tinake, Kuchh Baatein (Setu, 2025), blends diary entries, poetry, and short stories. His other works include Affairs of Deception (Rupa, 2024), Colours of Red (Rupa, 2021), Lockdown Love (Om Books, 2022), and Ek Ghoont Chandani (2017), each exploring different themes and emotions.
His books on policing, such as Behind the Uniform: Not Just a Cop (Garuda, 2023) and Naxalwad aur Police ki Bhumika (2012), offer a firsthand look at law enforcement challenges. His work Naxalwaad: Unkaha Sach (2021) has also been widely appreciated. He has won the Govind Ballabh Pant Puraskar twice for his contributions to literature.

During his three decades in the CRPF, Singh has received several medals from the Government of India. He has also been honored with ten Commendation Discs by the CRPF for his exceptional service.
